Celebrate your birthday at Hesketh Farm Park

Why not come along and hold your own party at the farm.
There’s so much to do and see at all times of the year. As Dales’ weather can be unpredictable, we have a large cosy, undercover barn with an efficient heating system so that your day will be still fun-packed even if it’s chilly outside.

Bring your friends, party picnic, birthday cake and any other bits and pieces you wish for your party. There’s loads to do, including feeding and stroking the animals, having fun inside – maybe in the giant sandpit or playing hide and seek with your friends in the straw maze as well as joining in all the animal feeding activities, making it a birthday to remember.

If you call us on 01756 71044 or email us at info@heskethfarmpark.co.uk and let us know when you will be celebrating, we can reserve a table for your use.

We are no longer holding our structured Birthday Parties

Tractor Rides

Tractor and trailer rides with Farmer Chris take place throughout the day (subject to weather). There is a small additional charge of £1.50 for these, and Farmer Chris announces the rides throughout the main barn.

Please note that during term time, tractor rides for the public do not start until 2.15pm as before then Farmer Chris is busy with school and other pre-booked group visits.

Our tractor and trailer rides are accessible for wheelchair users.

Indoor and Outdoor fun

After all the animals have been stroked, brushed, and fed you can play, dig and build in the giant sandpit, race with your pals on the pedal tractors.

There’s also plenty of fun to be had outside, from racing around the track on our pedal go-karts, maybe climbing up to the skies on the spider’s net to testing your skills on the wooden agility course, play hide and seek in the straw maze, race against your friends on the double zip wire and have fun on the rope swing.

Tractor rides with Farmer Chris are a great way to find out about the goings-ons of a working farm and see how it changes through the seasons.

Great family day out to the farm

August 2023

Tractor ride with the farmer was an unexpected highlight for everyone as well. Exceeded our expectations so happy to recommend with lots to do for younger children and families.

Perfect for a wet day with kids

April 2023

Came on a very wet day with this having a large indoor part. So much to get involved in, from holding the Guinea pigs to feeding the lambs and egg collecting. The fact you can bring your own food and eat indoors is a refreshing change. Play area outside is vast with beautiful views. Such a reasonable price.
