Is the farm suitable for everyone?
Yes, but we do ask pregnant ladies not to participate in the lamb feeding, nor touch the sheep and goats.
Is there plenty to
do when it rains?
Yes, most of the farm park is undercover.
Can
we bring our own food?
Yes, but we do serve light refreshments such
as delivered sandwiches, home baking, beverages, crisps,
sweets.
Do
we need to book?
Not for a family visit. We ask
school parties,
pre-schools and groups to book.
Does
the tractor & trailer tour go every day?
Yes, as long as the weather is suitable. The
tractor has to be tested periodically, and would not run on
such a day.
Is
there wheelchair access?
Everywhere on the
farm is accessable to any disabled visitor, as well as
the tractor and trailer tour.
Parking is permitted near the entrance to the farm park.
Does the farm cater for School & Group visits?
We are approved by the Countryside Education Visits Accreditation Scheme, are members of Farms for Schools and Yorkshire Tourist Board members.
Our excellent facilities allow children, even on the wettest day to have fun whilst learning and experiencing about our animals and the surrounding countryside. Your day is completely organised for you with our staff taking charge, teachers just need to bring the children!
Does the farm cater for Birthday Parties?
Our extremely popular birthday parties are held at the weekends only, catering for between 8 and 20 children. The parties last for 2hrs, one party in the morning, one in the afternoon. Please contact for further details.
