Hesketh Farm Park is part of a 600 acre working farm situated in one of the most picturesque areas of the Yorkshire Dales; Bolton Abbey.

It is home to Sheep, Cattle, Pigs, Goats, Hens, Donkeys, Ponies, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs who are all waiting to become friends! We even have a giant Tortoise with a very unusual name!

We have a large flock of sheep and during the Spring the pregnant Sheep give birth. Keep your eyes peeled, as you may see some lambs arriving. There are often orphan lambs that need bottle feeding too! The guinea pigs and rabbits like a cuddle, the hungry calves need bottle feeding, pigs that love being brushed and even the chance to collect the eggs!

Take a stroll around our outdoor paddocks, or sit and relax around the pond with a picnic. Scramble around on the outdoor playground or have fun on our huge outdoor pedal go-kart track.

Take a trip on the Tractor & Trailer tour with Farmer Chris who’ll explain what is happening on the farm and experience some of the farm’s wildlife.

Our indoor play area offers lots of fun too. There is a giant sandpit, a fantastic straw maze and two pedal tractor zones – one for those under 3’s!
